Ok so I just put a brand new waterpump in my car. so far I've had to put about 3 gallons of antifreeze/water in my car. today its still running too hot ( not to the point where I need to pull over ) but above average, fans are screaming on high. it's still steaming from under the resivor jug and smell antifreeze. though I cannot find any leaks, I seem to have a bit more than average condensation coming from the exhaust still as well. I just did an oil change with this problem and seen NO trace of water in the oil so I dunno about head gasket...The air should have worked itself out of the lines by now as I've put atleast 50 miles on it since new waterpump...still seeing steam and smell burnt anti...

Any suggestions guys? whose had this problem? it's an 06 w/ 92K

No codes, don't see any leaks, no water in the oil, no oil in the water....

Always start with a thermostat! Their dirt cheap and like a 20min job, If that doesnt work and its already got a new WP and T-stat I'd bet the heatercore is plugged.

found this trash...It's the freakin' 90* plastic elbow...what a *****!!! we have a High tomorrow of 17* and this is my DD...with snow and ice in random NC from the storm...

I believe you take the belt off, alternator, then idler pulley and then unbolt that housing that bolts to the head? and slide the stupid 90* plastic elbow in?
