New User- Question about car!

Hey guys! Im brand new to this forums because I need some help with my 2001 grand prix GT. Well, its not "my" car. Its originally my brothers but he got a new one so its been sitting waiting to get sold, havent got to it yet. Anyways, my car is having issues so while that is getting fixed i have his car for 2-3 weeks. Anyways, its always had a problem. Most of the times the key wont unlock from the ignition. When i put it in park, turn the car off, it doesnt unlock so i cant pull the key out. It seems to be a fluke thing. Im not sure what does it or what makes it only happen sometimes. Anyone know where i start looking/how i can fix this?

Under the steering wheel is a little tab, remove the little tab cover thingy and push a screw driver or pen up there and it will relase the key.

You can if you want, remove the bottom of the steering wheel cover and super glue that little white thing up so it wont happen again.
