• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

hello. so new to grand prix. my both my brothers and my dad have had grand prix's for years but i was always a ford fan. about 2.5 months ago i got my first grand prix and instantly fell in love. 1999 grand prix GTP. 171k miles when i got it. closing in on 176k now. my baby has a few problems still, needs 4 new door panels, new drivers side window switch, a dent removed, tires, matching rims, paint issues on spoiler and hood, cracked on front and rear bumpers, and a new gas door. i have however replaced 2 idler pullys(one was nothing but the seized bearing lol), a belt. 3 window tracks, and the catylitic coverter. so its a work in progress.

Welcome. I'm personally not into red or sedans but that one has a little attitude. So thumb up, you're in the right place. Not too many perfect GPs left, they all need love to a degree at this point. Those wheels are freaking me out, maybe its just the camera angle but... what are they, off a Ford or something?

These cars are fairly cheap to fix and maintain, especially if you can do the work yourself. Check the rockers and rear strut towers for rust and see if you have any. If there is any you may have to factor that in to hoe much money you want to pour into it. Rust only gets worse over time and costs more to fix. I have always liked these cars but as stated already, it is really hard to find a very clean well maintained one for a decent price. You're in the right place for questions and answers and alot of info has been documented twice over. I spend more time reading and looking for answers than I do posting.
