First off, I just want to express how much I love my 04 Grand Prix. Secondly, I am so glad to have found a site that can offer so much help. With that being said, I was wondering if anyone has any input on a few problems I've been having. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
#1) My variable steering sensor went out almost a year ago and I've been dealing with it because I don't have the money to fix it. I got some printouts from GM Service websites on how to replace it myself. Has anyone done this? I'd like to know what I'm getting into.
#2) The "low washer fluid" message keeps coming on. The washer fluid is always full and I just replaced the fluid level sensor, and it still displays this message. Any ideas?
#3) Just recently, the display says "check gas cap". The last time it said that I replaced the gas cap and it went away. I just replaced it again and the problem still persists... and it's getting very annoying.
#4) As far as that common steering shaft clunk goes, does anyone know of a fix that DOES NOT involve replacing the intermediate shaft?
I hope someone out there can offer some insight to my problems. HELP!
