New to regals key wont turn at all please help

just bought this car from my brother in law knowing it had some problems. water pump battery fail to mention ignition problems.

at first the key would not turn all the way back been like this for the whole year it was sitting at his house. i pushed the plunger got it out and now it will not turn from the off position i have had a new master cut from the dealer nothing. doing research i found ignition switch i posted on a local forum as there are some gtp guys they immediately said parking switch on the shifter. went the junk yard and got both. soldered the switch on and nothing so i move onto the ignition switch get it all in and nothing then i notice that the connector for the plunger is not on this harness would this make the differance?

what should be my next step? i have to have it out by friday

The ignition switch may be bad. Usually the only issue with them is getting them to turn back and that's when the plunger works like a champ. Beasically it's the same car as a GP so all the same stuff applies. There isn't anything that I can think of beyond pressure on the wheels (when you turn it off and the wheel locks and holds pressure on it). Maybe try musculing the wheel a bit when you try to turn the key.
 
yeah we have had 200lbs guys moving the wheel around when i try to jiggle the key and turn it nothing happens. there never is a easy car to flip with me it seems
