First off, got this car with a blow motor, and lower mile trans. Car has all the service lights ( stability, traction, abs, brake) and when trying to check codes with the tech 2 i cannot connect to the chassis computer. Any ideas where to start?

Have you checked all the fuses? Also make sure the battery has good power and all the grounds are good. Be sure the ECM is plugged in correctly or making a good connection.

I'm not that great at electrical, I'm sure soon enough one of the pros will help you out.

I can connect to the powertrain and body information, but when i go to chassis it says to check connection. Where should I start looking connection wise?

iirc not connecting is the troubleshooting. you can always unplug all its plugs clean them and re install em and try to scan it again. or just cleaning the plugs can make the lights go off on its own. while there look for damaged wires.

Are the ebcm's from comp g's special? Or would one work from another model?
