Well, I replace the fuel filter today. That went very smoothly. Then, after struggling for over an hour, I gave up on trying to replace the blower speed resister. Good Lord!! How'd they get that thing in there to begin with!!!
Also, when I bought the car, the tail lights seemed to be separating from the inside and collect a lot of moisture. Every Grand Prix ('97-'03) I've seen have the same problem. Does this condition occur on everyone car??
 


Keep trying on that resistor, it can be done and worth it. As for the delamination on the tail lights, it's common. My left rear is almost completely delaminated. Get LED's.
 
yeah pretty much EVERY single grand prix delaminates. its common. a lot of ppl tint them to fix the problem lol as far as the resistor goes. it is a HUGE pita. but you gotta be patient and attempt to be flexable. take the blower motor out to help a little and cut the insulation stuff out of the way to help you get to the hidden screw. hopefully you know about it. its difficult to get to.
