• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

So I bought one of these for my wife a few weeks ago for $300 and it needed a fuel pump and a new battery to get it running. Today at work I was trying to start the car and the starter wouldn't kick in. Then a few minutes later I tried to jump start it and still nothing. Then after a few minutes I tried to start it again and there were no lights, or that annoying chime when the doors are open, there is absolutely no power. The car is stuck at work with the windows down and the rainy season is upon us here in Guam. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried using the search function put it wasn't really helping me out. Is there a fuse that possibly blew or is it the ignition switch?

Backstory:
Car has not been run in 4yrs. Has been passed around from person to person and no one wanted to bother to fix it.

Yesterday, installed new battery and fuel pump, starter clicked a few times but never turned over. Used jumper cables and car has started up perfectly 7 times since until now. I guess the starter just needed a bit of extra juice to get it moving.

Check and make sure all the electricals have good contact surfaces and are tight, including the battery terminals. Then check grounds.

So I got the terminals cleaned and that was an issue. I now have power again, and now the starter won't crank at all. Got that repairs and it's turning again when I wire it straight to the battery. Car still will not start, even with jumper cables, battery has a charge of 12.2V. I have the 3 terminal starter solenoid, It took a bit of guess and check with wiring the negative and positive but I finally got it right I think. I have the negative on the back post and the positive on the front one. Anyone have a wiring diagram to support this? Purple wire was an easy guess. Everything is on tight and contacts are clean. Am I missing something?
