I'm Andy and I'm new to the forum. My wonderful daughter and her girlfriend bought me a Grand Prix to replace the pathetic Honda beater I've been driving. The car is a '97 Grand Prix GT 4 dr with the Series II 3800 (n/a) and auto trans. It appears to be a well maintained car with 198K on it.
I haven't owned a Pontiac since my 455/4spd Trans Am, and know NOTHING about Post Muscle Era/FWD Pontiacs (or GM products in general). What I'm looking for is info on what I have, what to look out for, and what can be done as far as mechanical and suspension/brake upgrades. This seems like it could be a fun car to keep and play with.
