Hi everyone.....on Monday I purchased a 1978 GP...my first Pontiac!!:th_biggrin2: She needs some work, but mainly cosmetic. It has the 301 w/4bbl carb, PS, PB, AT, and AC. She is black w/ what looks like it use to be a dark red (oxblood) vinyl interior and has a black vinyl top.
My first, of what I'm sure will be many, many questions is.......where can I get parts (both new and used) and what about published repair, "how to", or other helpful manuals? I must confess......I'm much more familiar with C3 Corvettes.....and there is a massive number of vendors for parts and tons of "assembly manuals" and other information on how to work on them. I'm very excited about my GP and want to get started working on her.....but I want to be prepared before I jump in.
Any suggestions or guidance will be greatly appreciated!!!!:th_thumb-up:
