Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

How do you know if your ECU/PCM (not even sure if they are the same thing) has been shorted, mine is not communicating with ODBII reader. I have the check engine light on, I had the serpentine belt go a couple of weeks ago and it damaged the fuse box wiring and cut a hole in the coolant reservoir. All items damaged have been either repaired or replaced. Is there instructions somewhere to reset the ECU/PCM?

The car runs but I have noticed that gas millage suck's!!

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I didn't have a 25 amp fuse, but I placed a 10 amp for now. There is power on the lighter I placed a small usb car charger on it and it show's power there but it still doesn't communicate with the PCM. Once I get off work I'll get a 25 amp fuse in it.

Any other ideas?

The cruise control doesn't work either I'm guessing the fuse is probably bad also do you think this has something to do with it also?

the fuse # is not the issue.

maybe take the scanner plug and work it on an doff a bunch of time to maybe clean the pins inside the obd2 port. could just be dirty.

or you got a pulled wire coming out of the obd2 port.

Ok, I'll check that out also. This belt coming off was a major problem since it scrapped all the insulator off the wires without knowing I ran the car and everything went crazy all the lights on the dash flashed on and off and the car stalled on the freeway, it would start up and run a short distance and it would do the same thing again. After re-checking all the work that I had done to it and rechecking all of the electrical connectors that I had unplugged (battery and alternator) to get a new belt and water pump put in that I discovered the issue.

Ok, so I found two fuses burnt PCM &PCMETC. Now replaced and still no communication with PCM on OBDII reader. Anyone has any ideas on how to reset PCM?

if you want to clear the cel light unplug the battery for 30 minutes. that will reset the pcm.

wont help your obd2 port to work tho.
