The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
im looking to get a new set of tires was trying toget wider but keep same diameter .the 245 and 255 in same dia are almost twice as 235 60 16 are the 235 a good choice over the stock 225 60
A 235/60 would be too tall, it would toss the speedo way out and likely not fit well well at all.
I'd keep the stock size with the stock wheels, you have the best selection of tires that way. Bumping to a 245/50/16 makes the tire selection way less and they aren't as many nice all season tires to choose from.
What is your budget?
That's going to play a huge roll in what tires someone can recommend to you.
under 500 i thought the 235 would only change the speedo about 1-2 mph little wider little taller but like i said the others jump in price a lot how would the taller tire affect performance 0-60
Maybe it's not as much as I thought but going to a 235 is .39in wider. That alone isn't going to make things any better nor should it make it anyworse unless the tire you pick weighs more.
Uniroyal tiger paws, Firestone precision tourings, Pirelli Cinturato P7's, Firestone Champion Fuel Figthers and Continental Pro and Tru-contact tires are all going to be great all seasons. How they preform and wear is up to your driving style though and vehicle condition.
There are other options but some aren't going to be very good in the cold/winter.
