figured I would update.
My blower motor went out a bit ago, but the temp has been nicer out, and the car doesnt get driven allot so I havent been worried about it. when the weather is in the 80's in south texas we take advantage of it and roll the windows down and open the sun roof.
Anyway, its supposed to start cooling off this weekend (lows in the 40's) so i decided it was time to replace the blower motor. I bought a new blower motor, and new wipers while I was there, and then new tranny filter and fluid and some amsoil tranny addative just for good measure. not really having any problems with the tranny, but what can it hurt (not sure if or when its ever been done). I also bought new plugs. they are the NGK v-power's. what do you guys think about these? I have the model number in the garage.
I got the blower motor installed sunday night and everything works great again. I also installed the wipers because it was easy. then it was time to get my son ready for bed.
I was at a customer of mine today (chevy dealer), and I picked up some GM supercharger oil, and also ordered some new factory headlights.
my car has some projectors on it now, but i dont like em. the mounts are cracked, and one of the halos is dim etc. just want NEW factory lights. May get HID's for my stockers VS. the projectors. Well, because I sell them stuff and my dad worked there and knows everyone I got both light assemblys and the SC oil for 200 bucks...
Anyone want my old projectors? I am willing to basically GIVE them away (you pay for shipping). if not I will just toss them in the trash I guess. I will get some pics this weekend as I have time to do some work to the car. I pickup my lights afterwork tomorrow, and hope to get them installed tomorrow night as we plan to go out friday night and want to have good lights.
OH, also plan on building a cone filter intake sometime (maybe tomorrow), want to hear the wistle friday night when we take it out!
