I have posted a few times inthe tranny forum(no surprise there) but I think I should have gave a proper introduction. I just bout a 2001 Grand Prix GT with 151000kms on it(94000 miles) from the first owner, the car was garage maintained, rust-proof, pampered from al the records he gave me, but now sheis giving me the dreaded p1811 code, not sure what to make of her but she is definately a beautiful woman who is a bit nasty on the inside!

This is my second car, just came off from a 1998 Buick LeSabre Limited, long live the 3800 SII!

I too had the P1811 code and was experiencing the hard shifts on my '01 GT. Installing a Transgo shift kit took care of the issue. I'd recommend it!:D
