Hello all, I'm new to this forum. I'm on a few forums relating to my truck already but recently picked up a 2002 gtp as a car to build and have fun with while keeping miles off the truck and for something to drive while building the truck up. So far it's been a good reliable car! The gtp I picked up is a 2002 and is stock as of now. The only thing I have done thus far is put in halo headlights with hid's in the projectors and halo fogs. I have parts from zzp currently in the mail for it.
 


2002 grand prix gtp driving home from the store last nite decided to see how it is running, so opened it up a little . I down shifted to second to go though the gears. Car ran great but it would not up shift. Stop the car turned around and started back home and it stilled won't shift up like its stuck in second.Also the idle is high 1500 to 2000 RPM'S, Idle surges up and down, Emaiil is [email protected] Ijust bought this car used to have a 97 gtp loved the car and just wanted another.
