Just joined the forum and I expect I'll be enjoying learning more about my Pontiac. Own and enjoy 2004 Grand Prix GT. 2 (perhaps dumb) front brake maintenance questions I could use some help with:
1. While removing caliper to replace rotors and pads, I didn't notice which pin is the upper and which was the lower. One has a removable rubber tip that fits in a slot on the bolt. The other bolt doesn't have this feature. Which is which?
2. Trying to replace caliper bolt dust boot with new ones and having a diffucult time removing the old ones from the the caliper anchor/bracket. Any suggestions?
