hi! i am a proud new owner of a gtp. i sold my bmw to buy one of these cars...i had previously a 03 gp GT but sold it for a civic :( but i am back to the W bodies now... i had a question...i purchased my car already modded from a guy out of state...i live in illinois so currently the roads are covered with snow and the track is closed..i was just wonderin if any one out there had a set up like my car and could tell me maybe a est hp/torq or 1/4 mile time...my mods are.... ZZ short stack intercooler with 1.9 zz rocker arms..zzp 3.2 pulley with 180 drilled t state and 103 auto lite plugs...stock manifold but i do have a no car or resinator pacesetter cat back exhaust..very loud....car does have shift kit in it..ZZp stage 2 throttle body with a home mad FWI using stock housing.... i think thats it...if i remember any more ill add...but on the interstate on my way home with my new car...her name is jackson....well see at about 115 it feels like jackson has no power? why is that? and also want to add i lost to a z28 camaro from a rolling start of 45....i thought i had him beat at around 70 mph bout at about 120 he passed me up and had a slow but steady gain on me...why? i have a zzp pcm as well but i am using the stock one due to the prev owner said zzp pcm sucked.....
 


Thats a good deal but would be worried how long he ran around with all that and no tune.. I would get a tune first before you do anything else. Why was he selling?
 


u need headers, 3" dp, good tune 4 the 3.2, if its intercooled, port the blower and lim, itll be more efficient. i bet that car is knocking like crazy. a camaro shouldnt be able 2 run u.
 
he was using it to drive back n fourth to work..the mpg thing read 27.5 mpg.... he had just baught a new 4 door gxp and said this 2 door was not good since he trying to have kids..he said the gxp would get stomped by this gtp

headers are kinda expsenive arent they..and they dont unleash alot of hp... what is the lim.... and the camaro passed me up around 120..it feels like my car is dead after 120
 
no tune, u r stilled goverened. they r just mostly for flow. if u dont want to spent alot, put a 3.4 pulley on it, plog and a tune. lim: lower intake manifold.
 


will the 3.4 and plog be quicker and faster then me just going n getting a tune....im pretty sure i am hitting some where mid 13's??? maybe or no way?

Look at my sig, i have a 3.4 setup boosting 11 lbs and bet i can take u. Not tryin to be a dick, just tryin 2 help u with what u need 2 get. Until u get it done i wouldnt push the car hard at all.
 


You can do a couple of things one, contact various vendors to get a stock tune by telling them what you have or if someone in IL has a tuner they might be able to chime in and help.
 
ok with my 3.2 pul.ley do i need a plog thing? and my car might have a tune but idk i didnt ask him... i dont hear any unusualy nosies
