Just wanted to say hi to all members. Im new to the site and have owed a gtp for about 6 plus years. i first had a 1997 gtp and went through 2 engines. i had some hard times with shops not doing what they were suppose to and costing me thousands of dollars. First motor went because of too much boost and too many miles on the engine and not enough supporting mods. Second engines(2004 L32 sc engine with only 10k miles ) i got cam, lifters, pushrods, intercooled, injecters, etc...... finally got it running nice with Zero kr. it was my pride and joy. one day my brake lines went. so i bring it to a different shop. well i guess there was some young kids working there. took it for a joy ride. beat the **** out of the car. motor was blown. :( So i gave up and the car sat for years. bought a 2000 gtp couple years later off a friend that promised to help me take apart the 97 and build up the 2000. Two years later i still havent heard from him. So finally decided to work on the car myself with the help of my bro. just built up the top end; lim, ported sc, stage II tb, stage II intercooler, injecters, exhaust, headers, intake, and a few other mods. Got it started on july 4th, started with no problem. was getting ready to tune with newly purchased hptuners program. Car dies after 5 mins of running.The fuel pump stopped running. Now it sits again in the garage. i dont know anything about wiring and lil scared to bring it back to a shop. All i want is to drive my GTP. hopefully before the winter.

sent the gtp to the shop. wiring problem fixed. just need a tune. I still have the 2004 l32 motor that has the cam, lifters, pullrods, double timing chain, springs. sits in my garage. wanna get the lower end rebuilt and drop it into the car someday.
 


yeah this tuning is intense **** lol don't even know where to start , swiggles at the time their was no tune on my car , had badwires going to thefuel pump , shop found half a dozen breaks in the wires , but all fixed now , starts every time , idles smooth ,driven it twice atlow rpms just to transport , needsto be tuned and thats where i am stuck ............ :(
