New member signing on. I just bought a very nice 2004 GTP Comp G, silver with grey leather interior, sunroof and chrome (or should I say peeling chrome) 5 spokes. The car has just over 100,00 miles and runs and drives great. It has a few dings and dents but no rust at all (a rarity in New England). Since one of my hobbies is restoring and painting cars I am not concerned about the body, and I was able to get the car for $5500, with 2 new tires and an oil and tranny fluid and filter change. The dealer even replaced one of the headlight housings because it was cracked and ordered an air conditioning compressor because the one in the car is noisy. The only issue with the car is the HUD which the dealer was afraid to mess with. I just checked it out and found the apparently commen broken spring connection. I also found the repair procedure here. I will fix that this weekend.
So far I love this thing. Now a couple of questions. Do all Comp G's have Stabilitrak? If not how do I tell if mine does? And is the SC oil change on this generation the same as the previous one?
