Hey guys!

My name is Josh, I just purchased my first Grand Prix (note the "first":th_thumbsup-wink: ) haha, I absoultely love it. Its a 99 silver GT 2 door coupe, fully loaded with charcoal leather interior. The previous owner has taken extremely good care of it and the interior looks (and smells) new!

I ran across this site looking for information and parts, looks like an awesome site, so I decided to join.

The only thing I am disappointed about with the Grand Prix's is that they are not available with a manual transmission, but that might be a project for another day :th_king-evil:

The first planned modifications for now will be the obvious starters, Window tint, new headlights, the originals or fogged up (by the way, how do the after market sets that have a black backing look/work effectively?) and possibly an after market hood.

Well now that Ive introduced myself and car, Ive gotta run.

Great Site!

Welcome to GPF!! Great choice with the silvermist 99.

Post up some questions in the appearance section. From what I've seen the black headlights look good, but have varying degrees of quality. Seal around them with silicone and make sure your bulb gaskets are good and you should be ok. Of course the light output will diminish from the already poor stock lighting. I'd definately install HIDs or buy the new projector headlights from the group buy.

Usually wheels will be the first and biggest change. Tint, lights, de-badging (removing exterior emblems), tails or tinted tails, tips, grilles, hoods, spoilers, SD airdam, etc.

Good luck.

Hey I'm new here to! This is the first forum I've ever joined, but I sure do like the experience. I have a 2003 Grand Prix GT Sedan. I bought it new in June of 03. I just passed 110,000 km on it. I've got a few mods on it. Please chack out my cardomain page for a full list:
4YOUTONV: 2003 Grand Prix GT - Lots of mods & Great pics!!! - Kingston, Ontario
I've done most of the work myself and am not scared to try new projects. I'm located in Westport Ontario. In my area there aren't too many modded GP's around, so I do get alot of looks and compliments. I also have alot of people try to race me, but i've grown out of that. I know alot about cars, and know mine inside and out. So I don't feel the need to prove anything anymore. I love these cars, and seeing what people have done to them is great.
