New Member and Dumb Exhaust Question

New Member here. I recently picked up a completely stock 2006 Grand Prix GXP with 120k. I have since added the MagnaFlow cat back system for the car (part 16726). I think it has a nice sound without being too loud. My wife says it hurts her ears because of the “vibration” in the car around 3krpm. There’s no rattling and I don’t really think there’s much of a drone either. Has anyone had any similar issues? (With the exhaust, not the wife ). Or does anyone have any potential solutions? I was thinking of laying some dynamat, but I’m also not opposed to removing the resonator or changing the mufflers, but I’m also not sure if that would worsen the issue. Thanks for any serious replies, and worst case I just have to ride solo and enjoy some peace and almost quiet.

I have sensitive ears for that drone/vibrations with certain exhausts. I can't stand that crap and do what I can to remove it.

Removing the resonator would make it louder and likely worse. In trucks I would add another resonator to remove the drone that I didn't want.

if theres no resonator, add one you can buy a 25 dollar thrush glass pack and it will kill that drone out. i also cant take any drone, drives me nuts, the wife is always right too. but i think you already knew that lol
