New Intake, holds 4000RPM

Hey GP owners, I just put on my FWI last night on my '99 GTP . Today on the drive home from work I mashed it and it would like hold and hesitate at 4000RPM, is this knock because I have no exhaust mods? Also before i put the intake on i was throwing a P0102 Code, and I threw a new MAF in it and i cleared it and it didnt come back on, now it has come on twice since the new MAF installed... faulty MAF? any suggestions?

Unplug your MAF and take it out and see if you get the same results or if it get's worse. Might sound stupid, but when was the last time the fuel filter was changed? With bringing in more air at that rpm, it maybe starving a little for fuel.
