Well, My name is Will. Bought a 99 GTP (4dr) a while back for $500. I knew there was problems, but Ive always loved the body styling. Anyhow, the cars got 200k, #6 piston chipped, damaged the cylinder wall, 3 of 4 windows wouldnt work, broken downpipe, a bunch of minor issues :th_winking: . Currently ill be takeing the block to a local machine shop where they will be resleezing that hole.
Im undecided as to how far i want to take this thing. I know itll probably be a DD once its runnin, as my truck (a 92 toyo 4x4) is in need of an engine overhaul an suspension work (minor lift 4")
Things id like to do to the GTP, cam (if i can get a CA legal?) headers, DP/Ubend delete, IC... the more i think about it, and the longer i keep it, the more likely itll happen. but for now... i jus need to get the block ready.
