• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

New here, with around $7k to spend on my car...possible directions?

I was guessing for a performance tranny it'd run me around $3k atleast. haven't hunted for them much but think it was zzr had them for 3-4ish depending on what it had done to it
if brakes and exhaust and trans cost you 4k you are doing it wrong

Better off getting rid of the Buick and looking online for a 97 thru 2003 GTP Coup with low mileage under 50K. Or better yet, look for a good deal on a G8, those are sweet rides also

This makes the most sense if you want the car to be bad ass without all the problems. It shouldn't matter why these people tell you like buy a RWD or another car, if you like what you have and can afford it go for it. There are a lot of know it all's and overall douche bags in this forum so be careful and pick and choose who you listen to.
get an L67, build it outside of the car and then just swap motors. it'll save you lots of time and hassle.

no need to go turbo, i feel. making big power is fun, but its more fun to make good power and then have the car looking fresh with some aesthetic pleasure.
