Im planning on installing a Push Button Start Switch in my '99 Prix. Im very new to this. Ive only installed some floor lights with a light up switch and a PA with a light up switch. From what ive read I can do this without a relay, so i will. Just hook the ground in and the other wire to whatever one im supposed to splice it with. I dont know too much about switches when it comes to this type of thing. Im looking for a cool red/red light/something thats under $20 that will work. Good looking black ones would work too..

Will this one? I was about to order it, but I wasnt sure.

If not, anyone know of some? Thanks!

There are a couple of push button threads here that would be great reads for you. The search is at the top center of the screen. It can be tough to find, it's there though.

Thanks, Yeah, Ive been all over this forum with this topic. All of the links and pictures i came across are out dated. I just didnt know if the switch I linked above would work? I dont think but im not sure.

Im pretty much just looking for a simple, factory looking switch or a nice red or red lighting switch (nothing tacky) with 2 wires, 1 for ground, and 1 for the ignition.

Thats what Im looking to do, turn the key to the on position and push the button. Just not sure what button will forsure work. Does it matter if I find one to a different model car? will they all work? Thats what im wondering...? Id like to just order a switch, not a kit or anything. Something that kinda looks stock. Im just having trouble finding one...

What about a simple diagram like confirmation I'm doing this right. One where its just the switch? With only the needed wires? No kit with a rely.
