Hello out there. I own an '01 GP GT that I'm having issues with. I have recently gotten a couple error codes when my CEL came on, here they are:

P0107: MAP/BARO pressure signal low
P1107: MAP sensor circuit intermitant low voltage.

I have changed the MAP, but nothing changed. The car has no pick up now on acceleration. It winds up over 3gs before it even thinks of shifting, and even then sometimes it doesn't. I was hoping the sensor would have fixed it, but no it seems worse. HELP!!

I would check your vacuum lines..especially the one goin to your MAP.

Then this may be it..

(1) To Vacuum Brake Booster
(2) AIR Check Valve
(3) AIR Pressure Sensor
(4) AIR Pipe to Exhaust Manifold
(5) Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve
(6) EVAP Purge Line
(7) EVAP Service Port
(8) EVAP Canister Purge Solenoid Valve
(9) AIR Pump Outlet Pipe
(10) Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) Assembly
(11) Air Intake Duct
(12) Mass Airflow (MAF)/Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor
(13) Air Cleaner Assembly
(14) AIR Pump Fresh Air Inlet Tube
(15) AIR Pump
(16) AIR Pump Outlet Pipe
(17) Breather Tube
(18) Intake Manifold
(19) Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor

Yup that looks like my engine. Any suggestions on where to start looking? Like I mentioned I've already switched out the MAP. This just looks like a big mess to me. I have someone to help, but I don't know much about cars and engines.

Check those vac lines. An easy way to tell, if you dont have a vac gauge, is to spray some carb cleaner around the vac lines, while the car is running, and see if you hear the revs increase.

Ok, so I tried the vac lines and nothing changed. Changed the Fuel filter thinking that was bad. this seemed to help at first, but now it is back to doing the same thing. No real acceleration. Boggs down at about 3gs and shifts hard or not at all. Once it gets past 1st and 2nd gear it runs fine, but still can't punch it and get the acceleration I use to get. Also there are times when I do try to punch it and right when i think it should shift, or it feels like it should, the engine sputters and I here a quick sputter hiss, like a line being blown out? Any idesa out there? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
