Hi, couple quick questions:

If I were to install a new head unit, not caring about onstar, RAP, chimes, or wheel controls, could i just pick up the cheap GM universal harness? Would the radio itself work?

Even if the power is on constant, its no big deal, I have a new battery, and a head unit with a detachable faceplate.

Does it have Bose speakers? I'm not sure about the 04+ but on my 99 GTP, I have the Bose speakers and I had to buy a special thing to runt speaker wire through.
