Hello to all those who read the introductions!

My name is Bryan and I'm soon to be an '06 dark cherry met. GXP owner. (I'm just waiting for the financing papers in the mail but I wanted to get an early start on learning as much as I can about these cars.)

A bit about myself: I've been a gearhead from my teens always doing something to my vehicles. Like many of you here I just can't seem to leave them alone! I'm no stranger to Pontiacs. I have owned a "68 Firebird 350/350 (R.I.P), a '78 Trans Am L-78, WS-6, auto Chesterfield Brown. My mom has a '80 turbo T/A (mostly stock and low miles) Brother owns 2 '70 Firebirds (1 is a T/A clone with aluminum headed big inch pontiac and 4-speed) This is my first foray into the late model LS based vehicles.

Other cars I've owned are Pro-Street '78 Grand-Am 400 with factory 4-speed, (2) '71 Cudas, '72 Challenger, '70 Challenger, '78 Merc. Monarch with Factory 302 4-speed, '86 Mustang GT, '89 Mustang GT, '82 Capri RS w/440hp 331stroker. and a few more in there.

I've worked for some great companies in the aftermarket as well. Ramchargers in the metro Detroit area, Weld Racing, American Eagle Wheels, Progressive Custom Wheel and Raceland in Lincoln, NE I'm also ASE certified in parts and service as well as SEMA certified in Wheels and Tires. Currently I'm a high school history teacher.

Looking forward to meeting some of you and I hope I can get some help on issues if need be.

Thank very much

BryanB

Well that was quick. I was thinking I'll have my GXP by the end of the week but It's in my garage now, just a couple of hours after joining.

Welcome! Nice buy. My aunt used to have an early 70s challenger that she took to the drags. My Dad has a 1981 Camaro Z28 350 4 speed w/t-tops. One of our friends of the family has a 69 Z28 clone drag car, 2010 Camaro and a smokey and the bandit t/a.
