New GXP Owner-Questions about suspension noise?

What's up everybody? Recently bought an 08 GXP with 29000 miles on it. Very clean car-drives very nice. Just have noticed one thing. Is there bushings that are known to go bad on front and/or rear suspension that causes a creeking type noise going over bumps? Just curious. This is my first GM product I've ever owned. The suspension noise is very annoying! Any help would be great!

I hope someone answers this because I just bought an 08 GXP and am having the same issue...it rattles at low speeds and only in forward gears...not in reverse gears...I think it is the struts that are on it...bringing it in to the shop on Saturday to check...I will let you know if I find out anything...

struts, strut mounts, or lca's, or maybe the sway bar bushing. all i can think of.

if you were to push the car down and let it spring back up does it make the noise? if so have some one else push on it while you try to look and hear for it under the car.

it was the struts...after being at a dealer for HOURS today and them not wanting to tell me anything (they checked tires and bushings, even when I told them it was the struts), they finally told me it was the struts and that they were not going to pay for it...they even argued with me on which tires went on the front and back...they had them backwards...

they are easy to change yourself any ways, so just buy new ones and have at it. 5 or 6 bolts per strut, thats it, just sayin.....

I've changed struts before. And I would have done it if it was my fault the parts were bad. The car was sold to me with worn out struts even the dealership said everything was fine. They were supposed to fix the problem because I mentioned it before I signed paperwork. It is very bad business to sell a car that the new owner has to sink $1200.00 into before having driven 24 hours...and made 3 different trips to the dealer to pick up the car in the first place.

ok, now that you put it all that way, im pissed right next to you, that does blow donkey dick on a large scale.

id be talking to who ever owns the dealership. call GM if you have to, if it came from a GM dealer that is.

i have a written letter from the guy that was helping me with it...he said since i bought a service contract, once it kicked in, they would cover the deductible and replace them all for me...i'll let you know if he keeps his word or not...
