Hello everybody, I might be an old guy, but, I'm new to this forum. I've been a gearhead my whole life, I've had 2 1968 GTO's and a brand new 1972 GTO and a 1974 Grand Prix many years ago, as well as many, many motorcycles. Currently, my everyday ride is a 2003 FX4 F150 that's in brand new condition, a 1997 Harley Heritage Softail, a 2010 Harley Electra Glide, (all tricked out), and a 1969 Grand Prix SJ. My 69 SJ is completely stock, including the exhaust. I want to replace the stock mufflers with ones that will have a nice deep throaty rumble, to make that 428 sound good. I don't want anything "quiet" and like I said, everything is stock, so it's not like it has a nice choppy cam in it. What would youz guyz recommend? Thank You for your input!

Welcome. Cool car! Mine is a base model. I gotta say glasspacks, the longer the better. Mine are 30". If you can angle tailpipes out and down behind the tires to catch some echo off the curb, you may get a bigger enjoy off that than straight out the back which is more common.

Heres a link to my youtube thing. Three videos there if you wish to hear it. Mufflers are twenty years old and I will spare you from other details. Mild cam and three tube headers are present though so bear that in mind!
