I have a 2004 GTP, 100,000 miles.loss of power warning light, tracking
light and security light. Car will start but dies after a few seconds or when you step on the gas. I have replaced the battery in the past when this happened ( about a year ago) and it solved the problem.Could it be the alternator ?
 


Unplug the MAF sensor, its the only sensor on the intake tubing, see if it runs longer than a few seconds when you do that.

I'm sure its thrown a check engine light too, so a code should be stored and could help us figure this out.
