hi everyone, got a 2000 grand prix gt with the 3800, not supercharged. Problem is after it warms up it has a slight knock to it, when its cold it purrs like a kitten. Any ideas?
excessive play in the bearings would be my guess or weak oil pump... try some heavier weight oil in it and see if it still knocks the same or stops but you're gonna need a new engine eventually.
