• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Figured I'd stop and introduce myself. I'm Jason and own a dark blue 00 Grand Prix GT. Picked it up free for some work I did for a family member and it's been a great car so far (except the LIM/UIM issue). So far it's got 232K on it and other than the gaskets and missing OD (4th clutch shaft) it's a good car. Always liked the style of this year.

Own quite a few other rides besides the 00 GT...
03 Crown Vic LX Sport
95 Thunderbird LX
87 Nissan Stanza GXE
84 Crown Vic
74 MGB GT (needs some resto)
74 MG Midget (restored and driveable)

Trying to get my GP in good shape again mechanically. Slowly getting there. Not looking to mod this one, just maintain it as a good solid daily driver. I've found some great info on here and hope to contribute as I can. This is the first GM product I've personally owned, so go easy on me, lol...

Welcome. Quite an eclectic collection you have there. I'd like to see you put a L67 motor in that MG midget, that would be cool.

BTW, is that car politically correct anymore?

Well, I guess technically it's an MG "little car" now, lol... Dang PC society.

Since the Rover V8 fits in the Midget, I don't see why an S/C 3.8 wouldn't fit. But my wife would probably kill me since her father was the one that restored it and left it to us in his will. Thinkin that one will stay stock, in all of it's 1275cc of power. At least it's a 4 speed!

Those little cars are gocarts! They can be a lot of fun.

Where in STL are you? I've seen lots of Prix's at Speedway Salvage by Gateway INT Raceway and at Pick a Part off of Hall St.

It is a fun little car, but driving it can be harrowing seeing as how small it is.

I'm actually in Old Monroe, about 15 miles down Hwy 47 from Troy, MO.

I need to get back out to Speedway soon. That place has been a second home for years. Also Pick a Part and Al's on Hall Street have been frequented here and there.

Unfortunately, my GP is up on stands right now with the motor 3/4 of the way dissasembled so I can hopefully repair the issue that *ahem* I accidentaly created Tues. night while installing a new UIM. Massive carnage. I hope I can fix it because I can't afford another car payment. I will find out tomorrow if it survived well enough to be put back together or if I will be looking for some parts. After 25 years of working on cars, I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later. Just wished it had been later :(
