hey everyone, my name is Jordan, im 20, im from new brunswick canada and i recently bought a 97 gtp, high miles, but everything seemed to be in good running order, but ive had a few problems.
Im not exactly new to the car scene, my last car was a 97 talon esi with an eclipse swapped front end, and before that i drive avengers, so u could say i was a DSM guy. I was also frequent on aseclub.net (avenger sebring enthusiast club) over the last 2 years. I havent really dug into this site yet, but from what ive seen it looks like its gunna be very helpful.
my gtp is completely stock right now, the plan is to get it running right and be reliable and then start modding, first will probably be a cold air intake, then exhaust(the u bend delete for sure)... possibly headers depending on the price and then go ahead with colder spark plugs for the 3.4 inch blower pulley, again, i dont want to over do the pulley because it does have high miles.

Google search Safely Modding Your 3800. If you have a proper tune and don't beat on it every 2 seconds...miles mean nothing on a 3800.
