new grinding noise

yeah so the GP has developed a new noise. it is a low rubbing/grinding noise...It only does it under accelerlation from 10mph to 40mph. kinda sounds like a pilot bearing when u push the clutch in on a manual, and it rattles cause its out :th_laugh-lol3: ...

very hard to explain, I THINK it may be coming from the rear, wife thinks the front but we have no idea...anyone had simular issues? sorry I cann't describe better. it's some kind of rubbing, grinding noise...

I think I found the problem, I heard a noise today at idle, immediately jumped out and crawed under...sounded like it was coming from the exhaust??? just before the mufflers...any ideas?

had my tires rotated at the dealership

they told me my wheel bearings had "play" in them..

think this is what is making the noise?

If it's a wheel bearing you will hear a difference in sound depending on which way you are turning. If the left one is bad you will hear it more when turning right and vice versa.

yeah but i just put my stock 17's on insted...i didnt feel any play, even had my uncle check it too, nothing...hmm? I will pay attention to that fuglygtp

I'm a little confused. Do you hear the noise only from 10-40 mph or do you hear it at idle as well?

If you hear it from 10-40 only then it probably something in the drivetrain.

If you hear it at idle it very well may be exhaust related.

Is your check engine light on?
