• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Hello everyone,
Just got a 2002 40th anniversary Gtp, and i was just wondering what is the best way to get cheep power out of this engine. It is my first forced induction car, so i figured i would ask the people who should know best? I have owned 3 f-bodys (96 formula 97 TA and a 96 TA) and i did quite a bit of performance work on 2 of them. I know what works there, and i am not a beginner to this. Any how this Gtp is a bit sluggish imo, and wondering what works best with these cars? I got kids now, so this gtp seemed like the best vehicle i could get to haul the family in and still be fun to drive. (And still be GM)

Best way to get cheap power is to do plugs/wires/fuel and air filter. Then clean the MAF. Once you get that done then follow what's in the modding thread mentioned above. Also check around for vacuum leaks as these lines are getting old and like to crack. Especially the T under the S/C snout.
