needing some advice 2002 3.8 wont start unless i touch the gas

Ok here’s the deal my 2002 gt I have to push on the gas to get it to start. I don’t have to floor it mind you just barely touch the gas. I have changed out the throttle position sensor thinking that was the cuear to what ails it but it is
still doing it.
I have looked for vacuum leaks thinking I was on the right path but that was a swing and a miss

so what else could it be???
 


I'd check fuel pressure. The check valve in the pump is common to be bad. So at key on..you don't necessarily get a full prime, which means you need a little throttle and pump running to get it fired up.
 
when I was having my starting issue, I would have to give it gas to get it going. It was sugested I clean the Throttle Body.. I did, cleared the problem.
 
id do what bill says or replace fuel filter to see if that helps. its only 10 bucks and theres nothing wrong with ever having a fresh one on.
