HI, all - I have an '03 GTP with 139K. I'm getting some slipping off the line. In reading other threads it looks like it might be a PCS, but it seems that if I have to have the trans pulled I should do a rebuild. Is this logical? I would also consider doing affordable upgrades if I have to have the work done anyway.
1. I would not try this job alone, but is there a forum member somewhere around DuPage County who would be interested in helping me? I have tools, but not a suitable garage. (no air tools, trans jack)
2. If I need to have it done by a shop, can anyone recommend the best buy on a rebuild in my area? Suggestions for avoiding unethical or poor quality work?
