I know this thread is kind of worthless but i need to know where i can find some new plastic lines. I broke one while i was changing my plugs last week, I'm pretty sure its a vaccum line because my boost gauge isnt reading accurate, it us to be accurate because as soon as i get one psi one bar would show up on the boost gauge on the dic. I'm also having shifting issues, even though my car is a 1999 and its electronically controled and not by vaccum. My tranny is a triple edge tranny i just got not 2 long ago. Well it sometimes doesnt like to shift into 4th. Like when i first start driving it, it drives great but as soon as i romp on it and give it wot then i let off of it then i will stay in high rpm and i have to pretty much give it wot to get it to shift to 4th. and sometimes when im crusing it stays in higher rpm like 50mph will be at a little over 2k rpm. Now idk if it has anything to do with my tps. If i have to do a case learn or something. I just installed a new tsp on my zzp stage one throttle body cause the tps on it had a good size crack on it so i replaced it. When i first installed it i didn't put it in the right postion and it was idleing at 3k lol, soo i postioned it so it idles just below a grand. But anyways the line i broke is above the s/c, i broke off may be a half inch of it, it has two nipples on it, soo what i did was cute the rubber hose where it broke inside and just slip it over the plastic line, and its not really secure soo i need to just get a new line. Also the tranny doesnt act up all the time like that. And it just started doing that as soon as i replaced the tps and broke that line. I haven't asked trannyman about this yet untill i replace the line and see if i do need to do a case learn on the tps first.

What?

If you need new vacuum lines, go to ANY autoparts store. Incorrect MAP sensor readings (which will happen if you broke a vacuum line) will cause all sorts of driveability issues.

Yeah just replace it with regular rubber hose. Oreilly's (6 ft for like 3.00)

While we're on the subject, anyone know a store that carries a direct replacement for the T-fittings (like the one on the LIM)? The one I have has a split in it and I can't find one that seems to match at the auto stores.

Go to Auto Zone and check there. They have an assortment kit with 4 or 5 different ones, I think there are some straight ones in there too. My memory is foggy, but I'm pretty sure I saw some t-fittings in there.

Otherwise, you might have to get the plastic Ts and use little pieces of hose.

Hope this helps.
