Hey guys. Im wrapping up the turbo build on my 04 and I have the stock L26 intake on top of the motor. Where do I need to install a vacuum nipple? Im not getting vacuum from that one nipple on top but from what I've heard im not supposed to be.....
 


back of your intake next to the brake booster line is a nipple for a vac line. its for the hvac but you can tap it if need be.

what line do you need vacuum for?

vac line is soft and very flexible, you should be able to get it on there and route it safely away from any pipes.
 


that port is where the hvac line should go. or the air flow wont change direction in the car, aka vents, floor, defrost.

A vacuum block still needs a vacuum source.

For my 07 I have an adapter that replaces the map sensor and I run everything from there. I ordered it from ZZP. It would probably be your best bet. You'll have to email them about it though because they don't have it on the website

hes got a port he could run block off off, hes just saying its tight to get to. nothing a pair of long needle nose pliers cant fix in my book.
 
pull off the upper intake and drill tap the side of your upper pcv housing for a 1/8th npt to nipple fitting.

since your turbo im betting you have an RTV filled PCV valve witht he OEM Oring or the lim blocked off (in either case make sure you get rid of the plastic pcv distribution "J" tube that clips into the UIM gasket carrier...)

all you have to do is tap into that chamber or the backside of the EVAP/Purge solenoid boss and youll be good to go (drill bit/tap would point towards cyl 4, neatly clearing your WG)
