ok when i picked up my cai and ported tb from dave, we found that the car already has a magnuson snout on it with a 3.4" pulley :th_shakinghead2: since my car does not yet have the mods to run that size pulley i would like to put a stock one back on for the time being...i've been doing a little reading online but can't find any solid info. I've read the magnuson snout is keyed, kinda like the zzp modular set up for quick pulley changes, but where can i find a stock one for the magnuson snout? Can i just pick up a 3.8" at an autoparts store like o'reilly's or do i need to order one online and will i need a special key to do the swap? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

The pullies are all a certain pulley that you won't find at the parts store.

I'd think your easiest route is to buy a Gen 3 snout of someone for cheap. Replace it along with the coupler and oil and then you are on regular pullies like the rest of us.

This assumes that the rest of the charger is the same Gen 3 type that I'm used to seeing.
 
What Bill said would probably be the hands down easiest thing that you can do. I'm not too familiar with the Magnason snout myself, but I believe the rest of the supercharger should be your typical Gen3.

I've got snouts laying around here if you need one.
