Need some input on mods for my 07 Grand Prix GT

Hey all:

I have been looking over this site for a good week now and joined today. I am having problems with my computer and it takes awhile for each page to load. I know time to get it fixed.

I just picked up a 2007 Grand Prix GT with 25K miles.

What I have read so far it looks like I want to add around 50-60HP and hopefully see around a 13.8 or so in the 1/4 mile

This is my daily driver and I Purchased a extended warranty so I want to keep it safe. Not looking to go all out, I have a 800HP toy in the garge if I want to really have some fun.

So it looks like a Cone filter and pulley swap with a tune.

I couldn't find a write up with pics showing how to do this or what is needed so if someone can post a link I would very much apperciate it.

As for the pulley it looks like a 3.5? Also what size belt? How much more boost is the 3.5 and what is stock size?

As for tune is it not best to go to a actual tuner and have it dyno tuned? There is a few great shops in So. Calif that does tunning. I will just need to check and make sure they have done the Grand Prix before.

I was hoping to be around $750-$1,000 range

All input would be much apperciated.

You'll need to install more than just a cone filter to do a pulley drop safely.

Yup read that. For installing the cone filter, just put it on the end of your maf sensor.
