It looks like it is finally going to be time for me to order my clutch for my 5 speed swap in my GP. The problem is, I need a very good rough estimate of what the power output will be for my clutch selection. My mods will be: Top swapped L36, Gen V, IC'ed, XP cam, 42.5 injectors, N* w/ LQ4, SLP headers, GMPP exhaust. I also have mildly hand-ported and flowed heads and 3.0, 3.2, 3.4, and 3.6 pulleys. I'm not looking for retarded numbers here, but in order to spend this money wisely, I need to have a good general idea of where I could end up. I don't mind numbers erring in the upper direction, but someone has to have close to this setup out there that might be able to give me some insight. Thanks in advance for the help. Also, sorry if I put this in the wrong spot.
 


you'll probably end up on the 3.2 or 3.0 pulley, pushing a max of 350whp or so when all is said and done. realistically based on a conservative tune it would be a safe bet to be around 330whp.

however, you could have a freak setup and make a bunch more for god knows why, but most stock head intercooled/cammed setups peak somewhere in the area of 350whp.
 
Thanks for the input guys. I'm not looking to put down a lot of power or maxxing out the setup, but based on conservative numbers, I've heard around 350 ft/lbs.
 
with the 5-speed youre gonna get inflated numbers as well, so you may be looking for 380whp in the end.
 


Not saying you guys are wrong but ZZP says an Xp build on a 3.0 is good for 300whp. That is non-top swapped, non-gen V, non-IC.

Honestly not trying to argue just was bringing that up.


Ok, I just looked again and they say Non-IC 300 whp... IC setups will do 340 both setups with the 3.0
