Need some advice on car

I'm an owner of a 2000 Grand Prix GT that I bought brand new, but its really showing its age at this point 10 years later, partly due to my lack of car knowledge. I want to get some advice on how to take better care of it ......... if its not too late to do so.

Spend a weekend detailing it, or have it proffesionally detailed. A good buff and wax never hurts.
