Need Help with Odd Shake from vehicle

I have a 2003 Grand Prix GTP I have had the suspension checked multiple times, tires balanced, and rotated nothing seems to be wrong with any of it but there is a shake and vibration from the vehicle from about 40 MPH and up under exceleration if i let off the gas or coast the vibration stops. It also gets worse the more weight or people in the vehicle. I want to fix it but other then replace every part of the suspension I'm at a loss of what to replace to attempt to fix the issue.

I'm guessing your meaning the CV axles is that a general issue with these cars even through they arent showing any other signs of going bad? cause I'm not getting any clicking sounds or anything like that

Yeah, usually vibration under acceleration is caused by dying axles. They haven't slung the grease out of the boots at all or torn at all?

Just a tiny bit of grease has started to come out but maybe they are worse on the inside then they make it seem from the outside. I'll start with replacing those and with any luck that will be the cause of the issue. Thanks for your help in giving me a direction to start in.

Check your motor and transmission mounts as well, my 05 vibrates in the same conditions and it's due to a collapsed motor mount. The engine is tilted a bit so the axle is sitting off center.

Nope. Rockauto sells new CV axles from a number of sources….

you go ahead and order off line and wait for it then, then ship it back when it goes bad. parts like hubs and axles you buy local. use your brains here and there.

id rather have a local warranty for parts that matter.

I replaced the drivers side CV axle cause it was the side that seemed to have the most shake coming from it and most of the shake and vibration went away still a little bit left. Going to replace the passengers side next weekend. If that doesnt take care of the rest of the vibration I will be back to see if anyone has any other ideas for possible causes.

1,000,000% correct Scotty. Also "most" new axles are completely Chinese made whereas reman still has OEM quality in it. Think about that.

General Rule of them: NEVER buy remanufactured parts if you can buy the same part NEW-regardless of whether it is chinese or not.

The W-body half shafts are known to not be the most durable part. My OEM half shafts developed a vibration at about 80,000 miles and I replaced them with remanufactured units at 90,000 miles. I am approaching 80,000 miles now on the remanufactured units and guess what, a vibration has developed again, almost exactly at the same mileage as the OEM units. I have a set of Cardone Select NEW half shafts that will be going on the car next-BTW-no sign anywhere on them on their point of origin but they are brand new.

dude, just stop. i dont know where all this info comes from. but parts wear out all the time. (90 and 80,000 on parts, you got your moneys worth)

new/ reman. almost the same thing for 1/2 the price.

your money spend it as you like.

just about every thing thats been replaced on my car is a reman part. your point is moot.
