Need help with my heads up display

Does anyone know why my heads up display would fad in and out and sometimes never even show up? If anyone could give me some ideas whats going on with my hud that would be great. thanks
 


Thanks also i am new to the pontaic grand prix too i just bought the car this last week. Thanks for the info by the way but could you get me alittle more information like where the main board is and where to look to find the loose solder. I can solder just fine so once i find it i can do that but thanks alot for your info so far.
 
Welll....If you click on the link, it'll show you everything XD.

You'll have to pop the HUD plastic cover off, which runs across the whole dash. Then some screws and a connector, and it'll be out.

But just click the link, and it should give you plenty of insight.
 
I guess i should have clicked on that sorry about that but thanks alot i am going to try doing that hopefully this week some times.
 
Yeah, no problem at all. It's actually very simple. Worst part is getting that plastic HUD cover off, without breaking tabs off of it..Be very gentle doing that.

Other than than, its pretty straight forward.
