Need help with misfire 98 gtp!

ok so i just bought this gtp and it had been sitting for almost 2 months and trying to figure out the misfire. it only does it when i go full throttle but its awful when it does but any other time the car drives fine even like quarter throttle it boosts fine. i just put 93 in it but i havent had a chance to boost it yet because i ordered a new coupler for blower so i gota get that back on, but what else could it be? im not throwing lights on the dash but the guy i bought it from said they ran a scan and it said it had a misfire. should i change plugs and wires? any help appreciated would be great! ive read to that if the gap is wrong even the slightest bit it would have a misfire? what plugs should i run? its just got a k&n filter and magnaflow exhaust.....
 


If it hasn't been done do the plugs and wires...its a good thing to do anyways ;)

Get some Autolite 605's and new plug wires from O'Rielly's or something...unless you want to buy those big PRJ/Taylor/MSD Wires...
