Need help with 1997 GT

I have a friend that is looking to make some changes to a 1997 GT. The PCM # (16217058) isn't on the supported list. I have been out of the grand prix scene for a while, and I was wondering what the options were for swapping this PCM to something that can be tuned with DHP? I did a search, but everything I read was for 1997 GTP, not the N/A GT.
