:th_wtf: okay..about 6 mnths ago my heater hoses cracked causing me to lose water and making my car overheat......i have since replaced the heater hoses (coolant elbows), radiator hose, & thermostat. However the radiator still is losing water causing my car to overheat still..A mechanic had informed me that there was air in the water system and there was a valve under the engine to get the air pressure out..he had sd that it was causing the air to evaporate quickly and that was where the water was going. I had never heard of this but my car is still overheating and i am having to put water in the radiator every couple of days...HELP ME! BC I AM RUNNING OUT OF IDEAS. I do not see any leaks under the engine. Could this be the work of a faulty water pump?:confused::confused:

Is there water in your oil? Take out your plugs, any of them look steam cleaned? Sounds to me like you've blown a head gasket or cracked a head

Agreed as stated above. More than likely cracked the head or blew a headgasket. Fo a compression test and report back.
