First off I have a hum from the rear while driving it changes in intensity when hitting bumps or turning. Wheel bearing? Do I need a special tool for parking brake?

Second issue. Fuel pressure bleeds off fast when car is off. Could this be regulator or leaky injector? Its a 2001 gt. The car runs fine but sometimes makes a dieseling sound when starting for just a split second.

#1 .. I don't remember what year you have. Nothing is really a special tool in doing the bearing (which sounds about right). Worst part of the bearing on a 97-03 is the parking brake piece on the back that bolts into the bearing. Crusty bolts.

#2 There is a check valve in the pump that does this.. most of the time you'd never test it or know it's faulty. It's very common.

So should I just wait a second with key on b4 starting. The 01 has fuel regulator on the rail on top of engine. Shouldn't it not leak out pressure beyond that point?

OK thx I wasn't sure where the pressure was held. It will have yo stay that way for awhile then and ill order a timken wheel bearing.
